Description: The National Honor Society is a club of tradition and prestige. Since 1928, the NHS has aimed to stimulate scholarship, promote leadership, and develop character. The students in this organization work to bring the achievements of outstanding high school students to the attention of their classmates, parents and community members.

Activities include: Vitalant Blood Drives, tutoring in the LRC on early release Wednesdays, 8th grade outreach and pizza party, involvement in a variety of school and community service projects.

Procedure for Joining:  For membership, students must have completed three semesters of high school and have a G.P.A. of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale for activities and awards. Admission is determined by NHS Faculty Committee application and interview process.

Time Commitment: Meetings are the 2nd or 4th Wednesdays at 2:15 in the LRC or the next Thursday morning in Room 137 at 7:45 AM. 

Activity Time Period: All year
