Junior Board Club Information
Description: Members are selected, in the Fall of each year, to represent his or her class for the following school year. Elections are held for President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer through Activities Office. The elected Board serves as the voice of the Junior class.
Activities include: Planning Prom, Homecoming hall decorations, Homecoming parade, Powder Puff Football Game, Community Halloween coloring contest for Kindergarten-Grade 3, "Smiles for Soldiers" card writing campaign, "Please Return on Monday" Prom safety initiative (in conjunction with Illinois Department of Transportation) and various community service projects.
Procedure for Joining: Students must be active in clubs/athletics as a freshman and sophomores and show others they are responsible (GPA, Discipline record). Students must apply.
Time Commitment: Meetings are every other Thursday morning before school in Room 175B.
Activity Time Period: September-May
