Mission Statement

The mission of the Finance Department is to maximize our financial resources in a way that ensures the best possible educational services are delivered to our students. We remain steadfast in our commitment to communicating with our internal and external stakeholders about the district's finances and business affairs in an accurate, timely, and transparent manner. 


Our Responsibilities

The department consists of three primary sections which include purchasing, accounts payable, and payroll.  We research, develop and implement best practices to include electronic processes.  This department is also responsible for financial compliance, including bond maintenance, budget preparation, levy resolutions.

District 215 was awarded a combined $9,538,859 as part of the American Rescue Plan Act.  The funds are available for use through June 30, 2024.  Attached please find the proposed spending plan for the funds.  Comments may be addressed to tbishop@tfd215.org.  Additionally, this topic will be an agenda item at the Board meetings on October 13 & October 26.
