Dear Students, Families, Staff, and Community Members,
I cannot believe that this school year is almost halfway over already! Starting the year in a dual role, as Principal at TF Centers and Acting Superintendent was interesting. Being able to focus on one role as Interim Superintendent provided a needed calm to the district and I am honored to share that at our November school board meeting, the Board of Education approved a contract for me to serve as Superintendent for the next two years. I am deeply grateful for the trust and confidence expressed by the board, and I look forward to continuing the work we have started together during my time as Interim Superintendent.
Over the past months, I have had the privilege of visiting classrooms, meeting with teachers and staff, listening to students, and engaging with families. These experiences have reinforced what makes our district extraordinary: a shared commitment to learning, collaboration, and the belief that every student deserves the opportunity to thrive.
As we move forward, my priorities remain clear:
- Supporting high-quality teaching and learning by ensuring our educators have the tools, resources, and professional development they need.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive school culture where students feel safe, connected, and empowered.
- Strengthening partnerships with families and the community, recognizing that we are strongest when we work together.
- Focusing on continuous improvement and fiscal responsibility, keeping our attention on what matters most—student success.
I am excited about what the next two years will hold. Together, we will continue to build on our progress, celebrate our achievements, and tackle challenges with transparency, integrity, and optimism.
Thank you for your dedication to our schools and for welcoming me so warmly into this role. I look forward to our continued collaboration and to the incredible opportunities ahead for our students.
With gratitude and commitment,
Mr. Raymond Williams
Superintendent
Thornton Fractional High School District 215
Dear Students, Families, Staff, and Community Members,
It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as Acting Superintendent of Thornton Fractional School District 215. This incredible district is a place I have proudly called home for the past 30 years. Over the course of these years, I have had the opportunity to serve in many capacities—teacher, dean, assistant activities director, co-chair for school improvement committees, assistant principal for building control, assistant principal for pupil personnel services, and principal for Center for Alternative Learning and Center for Academics and Technology. All of these roles and experiences have led me to this space, and I have cherished each role for the unique ways it allowed me to grow alongside our students, parents, and staff.

Happy New Year, District 215 Family!
I hope that everyone had an excellent Holiday season and welcomed in the New Year without incident! Welcome back to the second half of what I have declared to be the best school year ever! However, brace yourselves, because if you think the first half went by quickly, the second half will appear lightning fast. I hope you are as excited and proud as I am about all the great things that you have accomplished so far this year. I can hardly wait to see the other great things we do as partners within the school community.

As we approach the end of the semester, I want to take a moment to reflect on the accomplishments we’ve achieved together and express my gratitude for your continued support.
This semester has been filled with growth, learning, and resilience. Our students have engaged in a variety of academic and extracurricular activities, showcasing their talents and determination. I am proud of their hard work and the dedication of our educators, who have gone above and beyond to create a nurturing environment for all.
The second quarter is well underway, and it will be final exam time before you know it. I want to take this opportunity to reflect on the progress we’ve made so far this year. The first quarter was a time of growth and discovery for our students.
I am proud of their achievements and the resilience they have shown as they navigated new challenges. Our dedicated staff have worked tirelessly to provide a supportive and enriching learning environment, and I’m excited to see how our students will continue to thrive in the coming weeks.
