District 215 uses PowerSchool to give families access to important information about their student’s education. Parents and guardians can connect in two ways:

“POWERSCHOOL MOBILE” APP
The PowerSchool Mobile App makes it easy to stay connected anytime, anywhere. With the app, parents and students can view grades, assignments, and attendance in real time, receive in-app notifications about updates, check schedules and course information, and even message teachers and staff.
To download to your Apple or Android mobile device, search your app store for “PowerSchool Mobile” or click one of the links below.
Setup is easy:
- The first time you use the app, you will be prompted for a district code. Enter LMTJ
- Log in with your existing PowerSchool parent account as described above.
SchoolMessenger

District 215 and its campuses also use SchoolMessenger to send one-way broadcast notifications such as weather alerts, safety information, schedule changes, and campus and classroom announcements.
SchoolMessenger messages may be delivered by:
- Text message
- Voice call
SchoolMessenger uses the phone numbers and email addresses in PowerSchool to send district alerts. Please contact your child’s campus if your:
- Phone number has changed
- Email address has changed
- You’re unsure whether your information is current
Text Message Opt-In
We are only able to deliver SMS/text messages to guardians who opt in. To opt-in to receive SchoolMessenger notifications by text message:
Text “Y” or “Yes” to 67587 from the mobile phone number you have on file with your child’s school.
Please note: If you do not opt in, you will continue to receive district and campus notifications by email only.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a separate account for each of my children?
You only need one parent account to access all of your district 215 students in our portal. Please contact your child’s campus if you do not see all of your students.
The mobile app is asking for a District Code. Where can I find that?
The District Code for District 215 is LMTJ. You will need this to sign in to the PowerSchool Mobile app.
Is it possible to login to multiple districts at the same time on the mobile app?
If you have students at multiple school districts using PowerSchool (Mobile). Each district requires its own account to access their own PowerSchool. The mobile app will require you to log out and log back into each districts portal using each districts unique code or web URL and account.
