March Testing Days
Please read carefully and follow the schedule according to your class level.
March 19, 2026
Dear Red Wolves,
On Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26th, Thornton Fractional South High School will utilize a two-day test assessment window to conduct standardized assessments and provide asynchronous instruction to students.
During asynchronous days, students must sign into Schoology and complete the attendance link by 10 am. Teachers will provide students with an assignment on Schoology that will be required for completion upon returning to school on Friday, March 27th. During asynchronous instruction, students will work on their assignments from home.
Senior students are encouraged to finish the FAFSA during this time, if they have not already completed it. They can also work on post-secondary plans at this time. Although they will not have asynchronous assignments in Schoology, senior students must still log in and complete the attendance link by 10 am.
Students in Grade 9 - Grade11 who are required to participate in the ACT Suite will arrive at T.F. South no later than 8:10 a.m. and report to their room locations. Room assignments will be posted in the hallways prior to testing.
Students will be required to bring the following:
- D215 issued Chromebook (fully charged)
- Chromebook charger
- Graphing calculator (if they own one)
- Two #2 pencils
To help students carry all essential items, students will be allowed to bring their backpacks to the classrooms during testing. Cell phones must remain in the backpacks and must be powered off. In addition, smart watches must be removed from wrists and also placed in the bookbag throughout the entire duration of testing. If a student’s cell phone rings, or they are on their phone at any time, the student will be removed from testing and forfeit their exam.
After the completion of the assessment, all students will be provided lunch from the cafeteria. Students will not be dismissed early from assigned room locations. Please do not contact the Attendance Office requesting early release. We will not honor any request for dismissal during the two-day test window.
