AP Testing Schedule and Information

AP students have been registered for the scheduled Advanced Placement exams that begin on Monday, May 6th. 

Below is the schedule set forth by College Board for Advanced Placement testing:

 

Advanced Placement Fees:

  • College Board charges $98 per exam.  Thornton Fractional South will cover the cost of each exam for all Advanced Placement students.
  • A student who is registered for the AP exam but does not take the exam will be charged the full exam fee to their student account.

Additional Information:

  • Examinees must arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time of the exam.
  • Students will be excused from classes during their AP Exam
  • Students must bring their own calculators, (2) #2 pencils, and (2) blue or black pens for the exam.
  • Cellphones, smart watches, and any other electronics with internet access will be collected before testing and will not be returned until students are dismissed.
  • Students must have a form of identification at check-in (State ID, Driver’s License, or last year School ID)
  • If you have two exams in a day, please bring a snack to eat between breaks.
  • Lunch breaks will be provided and determined on a case-by-case basis.
  • Please arrange for alternative transportation for afternoon exams (12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

It is imperative that examinees know the date and time of the Advanced Placement Exam.
