Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA)

The purpose of this club is to create a safe and accepting environment in which lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth and their straight allies can meet and interact. The club provides a social group where all members can “be who they are,” offers students support in dealing with challenges particular to LGBTQ youth, and promotes a school-wide atmosphere of acceptance toward people of all sexual orientations. Our major annual event is "Day of Silence."

Listen for announcements at the beginning of the school year.

Time Commitment

After-school meetings twice a month. Possible weekend events.
