TFS drama offers many opportunities to get involved such as Fall Musical, Experimental Theatre, and the Spring Play. Members must attend monthly meetings, participate in fundraising and community service activities, audition for and perform in productions or work on technical crew, and otherwise contribute to the producing and presenting of all dramatic productions.
Procedure For Joining
All students who are academically eligible may join.
Time Commitment
Most meetings are after school. During production week, evenings are required. Technical sessions are on Saturdays and some evenings.
Activity Time Period
Yearlong
Contest play is part of the Competition Drama Team. The director selects a full length play and adapts it to fit the 40-minute time requirement. Cast and crew members build a set and travel to local area schools for competitions.

Try-outs are in December.

Practices are held during the week, after school, and in the evenings.
Activity Time Period
January-March
Group Interpretation, also called Readers’ Theatre is part of the Competition Drama Team. A cast of about 12 students performs a 30-minute story that includes individual and group performing. Participation on the Speech Team is encouraged to increase performance skills.
