Welcome to Honors English 11! My philosophy on summer reading is that it is necessary for your brain and your soul; reading a variety of texts on a consistent basis helps develop your reading skills as well as your core values. So, if you want a brain and a personality, read some books this summer – and not just the ones on this list!
This year, summer reading is enrichment only per district guidelines. I know many of you are facing serious challenges this summer. If you are able to, I strongly encourage you to do several things this year to work your brain. The following links contain some suggestions.
