Is my student eligible for bus service?

Is my student eligible for bus service?

Students that live 1.5 miles and over from the school are eligible for free bus service.

If I live less than 1.5 miles, do I have an option to pay?
Yes The fee is $360.00 per semester.

When will I find out if I qualify for a bus?
Returning students will find out at book pick up and new enrollments at the time of enrollment. You may also follow the link www.mapquest.com to determine eligibility?

How will I know my student qualified for the bus?
The bus route number will be on the student's I.D.

What time does my student need to be at their designated bus stop?
All students without a zero period should report to their designated bus stop at 7:15 a.m. Any zero period student residing in Lansing should report at 6:00 a.m.; Lynwood residents should report at 6:15 a.m.

Where are the bus stops?
Qualifying students of bussing will be designated by route number. Each route has several bus stops to choose from. The bus stops for each route are:

How will I know what route I have been assigned?
The route will be identified on the student's I.D.

Can I choose a different route than assigned?
No, all bus routes are determined by residency.

Where does my student catch the bus after school?
Students may board busses south of the school on 186th Street. Busses will be in numerical order.
