ATTENTION ALL STUDENT ACTION TEAM MEMBERS!!! We will have our next meeting on Tuesday, October 16th in Room 006 immediately after school.  This meeting is very important, as we will discuss upcoming community service outings and our annual Thanksgiving Dinner.  If you are unable to attend, please see Ms. Boesenberg in 164 or Ms. Dowd in the Guidance Office.  We'll see you on Tuesday.

Bullying is an aggressive behavior involving unwanted negative actions.  It involves a pattern of repeated behaviors over time.  Bullying involves an imbalance of power or strength.  28% of US students in grades 6-12 experience bullying.

KABOOM! It’s time for bowling season to begin.  If any boys are interested in participating in boys bowling this season, there will be an informational meeting Thursday, October 18th in room 239.  If you have any questions, see Coach Twietmeyer in room 239.

Track conditioning will take place on Monday, October 15, 2018, at 3:30 pm, in the Driver’s Ed hallway.  Please be prompt and meet directly after the bell.  

Are you interested in a career with law enforcement?  Any student interested in participating in the Calumet City Police Department cadet program, please come see Ms. Chavez in the Guidance office.  

Hispanic Heritage Month ends October 15th but why not stretch it a few more days?! Next week prepare yourself for Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week! 

  • Tuesday, throw on a soccer jersey to represent! 
  • Wednesday is Ranchero day AKA cowboy day! Throw on a plaid shirt and some boots to show off your best ranchero fit. Sorry guys, tejanas are not allowed. 
  • Throwback Thursday - Come dressed in your best old school cholo outfit! 
  • Friday, we conclude our Hispanic Heritage Month celebration by wearing our Hispanic Heritage T-shirt. Our theme this year is 'got dreams? yo sí so if you've ever had a dream and would like to represent, stop by Ms. Boesenberg's room 164 or Ms. Ramos' room 202 for a flyer. Teachers you can also get a t-shirt, flyers are in your mailbox! 

Remember school dress code still applies each day so please dress appropriately!
