We would like to congratulate Alexis Emerson and Quinsola Ojora for qualifying to the Illinois Prep Top Times meet which will take place tomorrow at Illinois Wesleyan University.  Both athletes are ranked in the top 24 in the state in the 400m dash! Run fast ladies and bring home some hardware!

Huge congratulations to Grace Ogunbowale for crushing her opponent from Sandburg yesterday at #2 singles and Marshae Harvey for defeating Romeoville last week at # 4 singles.  Good luck Varsity in your tournament tomorrow!

It was a cold-damp evening in Palos Heights where the TF United Girls Varsity soccer team  took on the Astros from Shepherd High School.  This, the first conference game of the year.  The young team made up of mostly sophomores and juniors were up to the challenge along with s few Seniors there to take care of business.  Having been practicing outdoors since February 25 and taking their lumps from Illinois Elite Soccer Programs  in the Windy City Classic tournament the girls put in gritty performance for a 1-1 tie.  United scored midway through the first half on a goal from Sophomore Amaris Gonzalez.   The defense played tough inspired soccer throughout the game keeping the Astros off the board for most of the match until a deflected ball found its way into the back of the net.  United will be playing South Suburban power-house Eisenhower on Monday.    GO UNITED!‚Äč
