100 Black Men are offering a free scholarship fair to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. Please complete the registration by clicking here to obtain your spot for the fair. 

2021 Jack and Jill of America – South Suburban Chicago Chapter Scholarship is open to African American Seniors who are applying to full-time, 4-year accredited colleges or universities for the academic school year. Letters of recommendation must be sent separately to this email address. Instructions for letters of recommendation can be found on the Jack and Jill of America - South Suburban Chicago website. Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is a national nonprofit organization that provides cultural, social, civic, community and recreational activities to children.  It is the oldest and largest African American family organization in the United States with over 9,500 active families.  One of the key goals of our organization is to give back to our communities by providing scholarships to deserving students.  Our scholarships are funded through the voluntary efforts of our student and parent members.  These efforts are an extension of our dedication and pride in promoting leadership development among youth and young adults. Late submissions will not be considered.

AABE Chicago Metropolitan Chapter The AABE Chicago Metropolitan Chapter now accepting applications for this year’s Scholarship Program. To be eligible for a new scholarship, all four of the following requirements MUST be met. The student must have an unweighted academic average of a “B” or better (3.0 on a 4.0 scale). Student must be a graduating high school senior who intends to enroll the next semester following high school graduation in an accredited college or university. Student must plan to major in business, one of the physical sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics fields in preparation for a career in the energy sector. The student must be one of the historically underrepresented minorities in the sciences, technology, engineering and math related disciplines. (African American, Hispanic or Native American). NOTE: During the application process, be sure to select the Midwest region and Illinois (Chicago) Chapter! Alberico Scholarship Foundation The foundation is now offering four $2,500.00 scholarships to seniors who intend to attend college beginning in the fall semester. Students must rank in the top 20% of his/her class, have a minimum of 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale. Must show evidence of participation in extracurricular involvement, community service, or other leadership activities within his/her school. Students must also have 2 letters of recommendation from teachers and must demonstrate financial need.

Alpha Zeta Delta of Chi Psi Fraternity – Three $1,000 scholarships will be offered to individuals who exhibit the values of Chi Psi Fraternity. More information can be found by clicking the link.

Amazon’s Black Employee Network (BEN) Scholarship is a scholarship program to assist high school seniors who plan to continue their education in college and pursue a computer science or supply chain-related field of study and career. Recipients of the award receive $5,000 per year for four years for college, plus a connection to industry mentors and peers from Amazon’s Black Employee network. American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation is offering 20 awards for those interested in hospitality management fields. Please visit the site for more information.

AXA Achievement This scholarship offers college scholarships of $2,500, $10,000 and $25,000 to high school senior s who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their activities in school, the community of the workplace. Plus, a $1,000 grant will be made to every scholarship winner’s school.

Beta Sigma Psi Educational Foundation Applicants should be male members of a Lutheran congregation who are interested in living up to the ideals of being a Christian Gentleman. There is no obligation to join Beta Sigma Psi or be related to one of its members in order to be considered. Scholarships range from $1500 - $2000. Student may apply for multiple awards.

Bezos Scholars Program Applicants must be of junior status during the current academic year.  Be a legal U.S. citizen, permanent resident or have received DACA status. Be enrolled in, or have taken, one or more AP courses, IB classes or college level course. To obtain more details please visit the website.

Bruce Fishkin  Eligible students must be a high school senior, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale, have a minimum ACT composite score of 22 or SAT composite score of 1,10 (base on the “new” SAT scoring system.) Applicants must also type an essay contain between 400 - 500 words.

Chicago Coalition for the Homeless Scholarship is offering a $2,500 scholarship for High School senior with a 2.5 GPA from Chicago land area  (includes suburbs). Students must have experienced homelessness some time during high school. Must be verified by homeless liaison or a service/shelter

Chicago Roofing Contractors Association Two 4,000 renewable scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors entering college in the fall of 2017 in the following programs: Liberal arts and sciences, engineering, architecture or business. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic performance, faculty recommendation, extracurricular activities, employment experience, and demonstrated interest in a productive career. Minimum ACT score of 29 is required. Applications can be found by clicking the link.

Cirilo McSween Scholarship Sponsored by New York Life is offering a $5,000 scholarship for business or accounting majors. Students must be High School seniors with a 3.0 GPA and a U.S. citizen.

Classroom Teacher Association – Scholarships are awarded to former students of Dolton School District 149 who would consider themselves to be deserving graduates of their district. Completed application must accompany teacher recommendations. Cirkled In “No Sweat” Scholarship: Cirkled In is the award-winning, secure, FREE platform for students to create an electronic portfolio showcasing their holistic skills and achievement.  Cirkled In is offering a $2,500 scholarship grant to one outstanding high school student (Grades 9-12). Coca-Cola Two Year College Scholarships You must be a current high school senior. The application requires you to list your grades, school community activities and employment. No essay or additional materials are required. Application deadline is Tuesday, November 15

Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship program will be awarding 1,000 or more students with a scholarship to the college of their choice. The application is awarded to high school seniors only and students must have nominations submitted on their behalf. Nominations can be submitted by visiting http://aim.applyists.net/Comcast/Highschools. Nominees must demonstrate strong commitment to community service; must display leadership abilities in school activities or through work experience; must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher at the time of application. Congressional Black Caucus Scholarships 2019 is offering a 5 Scholarships: Performing Arts field, Visual Arts field, and 2 general scholarships. Applicants must be from African descent. Deadline to apply is March 31st. Amount varies.

Conservation Education Scholarship Two scholarships are available to local high school students interested in conservation, agriculture and natural resources. Please click on the link to view eligibility criteria and deadlines.

CSBG Scholarship Program: CEDA’s CSBG funded Scholarship Program offers financial aid ranging from $500-$3,000 for income eligible residents of suburban Cook County who demonstrate academic achievement, career potential, and educational motivation. Scholarships are available for post-secondary education at an accredited institution of higher education in the state of Illinois for the 2021-2022 academic year. The award must be used for the 2021 fall semester/quarter. To be eligible, you need to: Be a resident of suburban Cook County, live in a household that meets the income guidelines listed on the website, provide documentation of being enrolled in a post-secondary institution by September 15, 2021. Candidates must submit a complete scholarship application with all required documents and provide proof of residency and income eligibility. Applications are due by Friday, June 11, 2021 no later than 5:00 PM.

Dean Ritter Trust Criteria for the scholarship are 1) Must have significant hearing loss in one or both ears; 2) Must be a resident of the state of Illinois (citizenship not a requirement); 3) Currently a high school senior in good standing; 4) Financial need will be considered; 5) You will need 2 letters of recommendation to complete your application.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The Joliet/Area South Suburban Alumnae Chapter is pleased to announce their annual Academic Scholarship Award Program. This scholarship award is designed to identify and provide financial assistance to students of color aspiring to further their education.  For over 40 years, JASSAC has been dedicated to the educational development of high school students.  In the last ten years, they have awarded scholarships totaling over $160,000 to graduating high school seniors. Each student selected by the Scholarship Committee will receive a scholarship no less than $1,000. In order for a student to be eligible, he or she must be enrolled in a high school in a “604” or “608” South Suburban zip code. The student must also be a graduating senior, a person of color, and have a minimum of a 2.75-grade point average on a 4.0 scale (3.75-grade point average on a 5.0 scale). The Dream U.S Scholarship is offering a $29,000 scholarship for DACA or TPS recipient or Meet the DACA immigration eligibility. Students must be attending partnership school. (Illinois schools include UIC, Northeastern, Arrupe College, and Dominican University. A significant financial need must be existing.

FAFSA On The Web (Your Key Aid Form & Info) Don’t forget to apply for financial aid. This is the most valuable resource for a student entering college, a university and even trade school. Students can complete the application for the school year as early as October 1.

Faith Hope and Love Jesus Inc. Scholarship: Faith Hope and Love Jesus Inc. is excited to offer an annual $500.00 college scholarship to childhood cancer and blood disorder survivors. To apply, you need to write an essay. This will be the easiest 500 words or more to write in the world! Why? Because it can be on any topic or subject. You decide! Deadline: May 5th.

FinAid: The Smart Students Guide to Financial Aid Scholarships This online resource provides you with access to an assortment of different scholarships. The site contains unusual scholarships, prestigious scholarships and fellowships, full tuition academic scholarships and athletic scholarships.

Founders Scholarship at Trinity A renewable, full tuition scholarship that is awarded annually to two incoming freshmen who exhibit exceptional leadership and academic aptitude. The application deadline is November 1.

Future of STEM Scholars Initiative (FOSSI) Open to all students pursuing degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program Applicants must meet the following criteria. (This is not a full list of the requirements. Please preview the link to obtain a more detailed list.)

  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership, character, communication skills, academic achievement, and commitment to Ventura County.
  • Secure two recommendations by authority figures who have observed them in a leadership role, including a teacher.
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent.
  • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.

George W. Pulliam Scholarship Be a graduating high school senior. Be a Cook County, Illinois resident. Be enrolling as a full-time student, for the first time, to receive a bachelor’s degree. Be attending an accredited bachelor’s degree-granting institution that is eligible to receiver Title IV federal aid and is located within the U.S. Have a cumulative 3.0 unweighted GPA or higher. Give Something Back Program is available to all 9th graders. Scholarship recipients are chosen early to prepare them for college. Preference will be given to students who have an incarcerated parent, foster children or students who have been deemed homeless. Give Back scholars are low-income (full Pell Grant eligible.) Our scholars are required to maintain 3.0 weighted GPA in high school, take a college preparatory course load, and demonstrate strong character throughout the program Students who successfully complete our program and continue to meet the financial requirements (full Pell Grant Eligible) will be able to attend college and our scholarship will fund tuition, room, and board. If a student is no longer a freshman and has an incarcerated parent, been deemed homeless, or has been in DCFS care while meeting the academic/financial requirements of the program, they are welcome to submit an application.

Gongaware Scholarship: Since 1999, The Gongaware Center for Insurance and Financial Services has provided access to top internships and placement while preparing for scholars to become successful leaders in insurance, risk management and financial service industries. Qualifications: Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, achieve ranking in the top 15 percent of their school graduating class, 1140 SAT or 23 ACT. Additionally, in order for students to apply for the scholarship, they must be accepted to Indiana State University by December 1st.

Greenhouse Scholarship Is eligible for applicants that are graduating high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year accredited academic institution. A U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S> and a legal resident in Illinois (Colorado, Georgia, or North Carolina). Have a cumulative unweighted G.P.A. of 3.5 or above. Demonstrate a financial need (annual income no greater than 70,000). Visit the website to apply and learn more information.

Guaranteed Scholarships By guaranteed scholarships, they mean those which are unlimited in number, and require no interview, essay, portfolio, audition, competition or other "secondary" requirement. Just meet the criteria listed, adhere to the application deadlines set by the individual colleges and universities, gain admission, enroll, and receive your scholarship or scholarships.

The Herbert Lehman Education Fund Scholarship is offering a $2,000 scholarship for all students. The deadline to apply is April 1st.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund Student of Hispanic decent with a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Please see the website for more detail on eligibility requirements. Application deadline is March 30.

Horatio Alger Scholarship The Horatio Alger Association seeks to assist students who have demonstrated integrity, perseverance in overcoming adversity, strength in character, financial need, a good academic record, commitment to pursue a college education and a desire to contribute to society. Illinois American Veterans Association Scholarships is offering a $1,000 scholarship for high school seniors in Illinois that are a child or grandchild of a veteran or active-duty service member. This includes Service Foundation Scholarship, Nursing Scholarship, Junior ROTC Scholarship, Trade School, Auxiliary Memorial Scholarship. Deadline to apply is March 1st.

Illinois AMVETS Service Foundation There are 20 scholarships available up to $1,000. Must be a current high school senior. Junior ROTC and Trade School scholarships available.

Illinois Chemical Education Foundation Open only to students seeking degrees in chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering or high school chemistry teaching. The Chemical Industry Council of Illinois, through the Illinois Chemical Education Foundation (ICEF) presents a number of $2,000 scholarships each year to top high School senior science students.

Illinois Legislative Black Caucus Foundation Scholarship eligibility is as follows: student must be seeking an undergraduate degree. Must have been accepted into an accredited institution of higher learning such as a community college, private institution or certified vocational training program. ILBC Members, ILBC employees, ILBC Foundation board members, and their immediate relatives are ineligible for the scholarship program. Applications must be postmarked by May 8. Illinois Lumber and Material Dealers Any student that is enrolled in a 2-year junior college or 4-year college or university. Must be a resident of Illinois. Scholarship recipients will not be based solely on financial need; it will be taken into consideration. Each scholarship will not bet less than $500 and not more than $1,000. More information can be found in guidance. Applications must be postmarked by March 15.

Illinois PTA A complete list of eligibility requirements is available by clicking the link. First place scholarship recipients will receive a 3,000 scholarship to assist with education related expenses. Second place recipients receive 2,000 scholarships towards education relate expenses.  Student must be pursuing a degree in either education or and education related program of study.

Illinois Sheriff’s Association Established in 1979, the ISA Scholarship Program is designed to reward students who demonstrate outstanding scholastic and extra-curricular achievements. Scholarship funds are intended to assist students with the cost of tuition, books and fees. Funds cannot be used for housing or any other incurred expenses and must be used during the regular school year. ISA will be awarding four $500.00 scholarships for students who will be attending an Illinois college or university in the 2021-2022 academic school year. Deadline to apply: March 15, 2021. Illinois Sons of Italy Foundation Graduating seniors who are wholly or partially of Italian ancestry from any recognized high school, public or private, within the Chicagoland area are eligible. Scholarship are in the amount of 1,000 and winners will be notified on or before August 31. Applications along with supporting documents must be emailed to the committee no later than July 1st.

Imagine America Foundation Any student looking to apply for scholarships to career and technical colleges take a few minutes to view the website to find some awesome scholarship opportunities.

Independent Order of Odd Fellow and Rebekahs Applicants must be a resident of Illinois and a US citizen or provide proof of Naturalization. Provide proof of financial need by submitting a current copy of IRS 140 or proof of electronic filing. Maintain at least a “C” grade average. Application must be received no later than March 1.

ISA Scholarship Program The Illinois Sheriff’s Association will be awarding four $500.00 scholarships for students who will be attending an Illinois college or university full time. This scholarship is designed to reward students who demonstrate outstanding scholastic and extra-curricular achievements. Italian Catholic Federation This organization offer $400.00 scholarships to roman catholic, graduating seniors of Italian descent. Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2. If either Roman Catholic parent or grandparent is a member of the Italian Catholic Federation,” applicant must be Roman Catholic but need not be of Italian Descent, or live where Branches are established, to qualify. Application Deadline is March 15.

The Joshua David Gardner Memorial Scholarship is offering a $2,000 scholarship for students that have been admitted or enrolled in and HBCU. Student must have a 2.8 G.P.A and 21 ACT/ 1200 SAT. Application deadline is April 30.

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Scholarship eligibility requirements are as follows: Graduating H.S. African American Male Student. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Completion of ACT and/or SAT standard exam. Documented verification of participation in extracurricular activities. Documented Hours of community service. Letter of acceptance to an accredited four (4) year college or university with proof of enrollment in the Fall 2017 term. 2 personal letters of recommendation. Kathy Brunke Memorial Scholarship This $1000 scholarship is awarded in memory of Kathy Brunke. She was a beloved teacher and Alpha Delta Kappa. Application is also available in the Guidance Office.

LEAD Scholarship Foundation 2019 is offering a $5,000 scholarship for all U.S. legal residents. Student must be African American High School seniors who have at least a 3.0 GPA. Students must also demonstrate financial need. Deadline to apply is April 15.

Leopold Education Project Scholarship Students must be high school seniors or graduates (diplomas or GED certificates), must be enrolled or be planning to enroll in a full time course of study at an accredited four year college or university (in a natural resource field), have a 3.0 grade point average or better (on a 4.0 scale) , and permanently reside in Boone, Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, Will or Winnebago counties. Scholarship amounts awarded are up to 1,000. The deadline is February 15; a completed application must be in, in order to be considered.

Lila Mae Wilson Scholarship Foundation is now accepting applications for students who live in the South suburban cook or Will County, students must be a high school senior and plan on matriculating in college in Fall of 2019 and be a U.S. citizen. Lupita Turriff Hispanic Student Scholarship Open to all future chemists, chemical engineers, environmental engineers and high school chemistry teachers. Student must be of Hispanic descent, prove academic merit and demonstrate financial need.

Mae & Mary Legacy Foundation is offering a scholarship for students whom are both African American and a High School Senior. Student must be pursuing careers in the health care profession. The application deadline is April 30.

Marianjoy Scholarship Program Eligibility requirements are as follows: Applicants must be functionally impaired or physically disabled. A permanent resident in one of the following counties: Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, or Will. High school senior or graduates or college undergraduate. Former Marianjoy patients are eligible regardless of residence. More information on how to apply is available by clinking the link.  Scholarship are due by March 29.

Mary Bowman Arts in Activism Award: This $5,000.00 award is intended to support one young artivist (27 years of age or younger) each year who exemplifies Mary’s passion for the arts as a vehicle for their own HIV/AIDS community activism and expression. Eligibility: 27 years old or younger, demonstrates passion for the arts as the vehicle for their own HIV/AIDS community, currently a high school senior or undergraduate, completed community service. Deadline: July 15.

Maureen L. & Howard N. Blitman, P.E. Scholarship is offering a $5,000 scholarship for African American, Hispanic, or Native American planning to pursue Engineering. Students must be accepted in an accredited Engineering program at a 4-year college or university. Must be a U.S. citizen. Application deadline is March 1.

Microsoft Scholarship Program Be a high-school senior of African descent. Plan to attend a four-year college or university in the fall of the year following high-school senior of African descent. Plan to attend a four-year college or university in the fall of the year following high-school graduation. Plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or select business programs (such as finance, business administration, or marketing). Demonstrate a passion for technology, leadership at school or in the community. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher. Require financial assistance to attend college. Application deadline is March 1.

My Two Sons: John/Sean Cater Memorial Scholarship This scholarship provides the recipient with $1,000, care packages, two mentors who will follow them through college and more. Applications must be typed online then printed. Handwritten application will not be accepted. Also when submitting your recommendation, it must be on the form provided. Applications must be post marked by April 1.

NAAIA Qualifying students must be African American high school seniors. All majors are considered; however, prospective Insurance, Risk Management, Business, Computer Science, Actuarial Science and Finance majors are preferred. Applicants will be judged on GPA, ACT, Community Involvement, and Essay. Norman Brown Scholarship is offering a scholarship for minority high school seniors who have a 2.0 GPA. Student must have a family’s income at or below the national poverty level based on family size. Application deadline is April 30.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, INCThe committee of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., Chi Lambda Lambda Chapter kindly presents the Omega Psi Phi Scholarship application for qualifying Seniors. Please visit the link for eligibility and deadline information.

Ora Lee Sanders Scholarship Sponsored by PUSH Excel is offering a $2,500 scholarship for student who demonstrate ability to overcome obstacles to achieve academic and personal goals. Must be a U.S. citizen with a 2.5 GPA. Deadline to apply is May 1.

PB&J Scholarship is trying to fill in the gap for high school seniors who don't have high GPAs and have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically, but who still have the drive to succeed. Examples of personal challenges include, but are not limited to: medical issues, peer issues, bullying, change of school, minority status, family issues, divorce, lack of income, homelessness, foster care, etc. Priority deadline: December 31.

Palumbo Family Foundation Scholarships are open to high school seniors, currently enrolled college or professional degreed students or incoming college or professional degreed students. Must be a permanent resident of Illinois Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake or Will counties for at least 6 months prior to January 1, 2017. Must have a GPA or 3.0 or higher. Have an annual adjusted income of $48,500 or less, tax documents needed for proof. A complete list of requirements and are available by visiting the link above. Application deadline is March 31.

Paramount Foundation To apply for the local PTC scholarship, a student must meet our minimum height requirements of 5’ 10” for females and 6’ 2” for males, be a graduating high school senior, and plan to attend either a 2-year or 4-year college this fall.

Pedro Zamora Young Leaders Scholarship: The Pedro Zamora Young Leaders Scholarship is open to all current high school seniors and college freshman, sophomores and juniors (ages 27 and younger) who demonstrate an active commitment to mitigating the impact of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and taking on roles of public service and leadership. Scholarship amount $5,000.00. Eligibility: 27 years old or younger, demonstrate an active commitment to mitigating the impact of the HIV/AIDS, currently a high school senior or undergraduate, completed community service. Deadline: July 15.

Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship Sigma Nu Fraternity is offering a $3,000 scholarship to one freshman male student who will be entering the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Fall 2019. The student must have achieved a 3.0 or above in his overall high school academic studies through his junior year. Application deadline is July 1.

Rhodes Scholarships at Oxford A citizen of the United States, or a lawful permanent resident of the United States prior to and including at least 5 years of the application deadline. At least 18 but not yet 24 years of age. Sufficiently advanced academically to assure completion of a bachelor’s degree before October 1 in the year following election. The Ron Edmonds Scholarship Award: The Superintendent’s Commission for the Study of Demographics and Diversity is proud to sponsor The Ron Edmonds Scholarship award. Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Graduating high school seniors who are exemplary role models in their communities and have the initiative to fulfill their educational goals.  Application deadline: January 18.

Save the Abandoned Babies Foundation The Save Abandoned Babies Foundation is offering up to five $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors in Illinois during the current academic year. The award winners will receive a $1000 scholarship to their college or trade school of choice. The student must be eligible for high school graduation or passed the G.E.D in 2022 and will be attending college or trade school in the fall of 2022. South Suburban College (SSC) Board of Trustee Scholarship All students must include a current transcript copy with their application and a letter of recommendation from a High School faculty member or counselor. South Suburban College Foundation High School Scholarships Twenty high school scholarships are available to graduates with a minimum 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale). All graduation seniors are eligible regardless of residency. Cannot be used with State or Federal Financial Aid, Other Special Tuition Programs or Employer Subsides. South Suburban College Free Class The Free Class is available to first time credit students residing in District 510 or Lake County, IN. Residents may take the Free Class during a fall or spring semester, while high school students may also utilize the Free Class during the summer semester before or after their senior year. South Suburban College High School Dual Credit Scholarships The SSCF High School Dual Credit Scholarship Fund will award up to a total of nine scholarships each year, with one allocated to each of the nine public high schools with in SSC District 510. These $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to incoming high school graduates who previously completed at least 3 dual credit courses with a grade B or above. Must have GPA of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, a letter of recommendation from high school instructor or counselor and must register as fulltime SSC student status. Cannot be used with State or Federal Financial Aid, Other Special Tuition Programs or Employer Subsides. Annual application deadline is the start of the fall semester. SSCEO The South Suburban Cultural Enrichment Organization is an organization whose purpose is to instill cultural, educational and community service in high school students living in the Chicago/South Suburban area. This scholarship is offered yearly and has given out over $36,000 to date to students who attend high school in the South Suburbs of Chicago. Sports Scholarships and Internships The NCAA is a valuable resource for student athletes. They offer more than $2.7 billion in athletic scholarships each year; along with access to medical care, academic support services and first-class training opportunities.St. Norbert College Music Scholarship St. Norbert College offers music scholarships in voice, brass, percussion, strings and keyboards. They are awarded in in amounts ranging from $500.00 - $2000.00 and are renewable each year you are in school. Scholarships are open to undergraduate music majors and non-majors. Stokes Program Students interested in majoring in computer science or computer/electrical engineering should apply for the scholarship program. The Program allows its participants to attend college full-time, then work during the summer at NSA’s main headquarters in Fort Meade, Maryland, for a minimum of 12 weeks in areas that are related to your course of study. After graduation you have a guaranteed job and you also receive a salary year-round while in the program. Stop the Bleed Frontline Families: $1,000.00 scholarship plus 5 STOP THE BLEED Training Kits to the student’s high school. Open to high school students who have a parent or guardian who have been on the frontline this past year. Frontline workers are food delivery and supply chain workers, paramedics, EMT/EMS, firefighters, police, teachers, nurses, doctors and those serving in our military. Eligibility: have a parent or guardian who has been on the frontline this past year, currently be a high school senior, junior, sophomore or freshman.

Stop the Bleed National Scholarships: Open to students who are currently attending high schools in the United States and its territories. There are two sets of National Scholarships: One set of scholarships is based on a video submission. A second set of scholarships is based on an essay submission. First Place-$3,000.00 scholarship plus 30 STOP THE BLEED Kits, Second Place- $1,500.00 scholarship plus 15 STOP THE BLEED Kits, Third Place- $500.00 scholarship plus 5 STOP THE BLEED Kits.  Deadline: May 8.

Student National Medical Association Applicants must be a graduation high school senior in 2017. Must be interested in pursuing a career in the Health Care Field. One lucky winner will receive a $500 scholarship. Applications can be pick up in the guidance office. Deadline is Wednesday, March 1.

Temple Hoyne Buell Memorial Scholarship will be offering three $1000 scholarships to individuals who exhibit the values of Chi PSI Fraternity. Chi PSI Fraternity is a “Fraternity of Gentlemen” and it is the oldest social fraternity in the country. It is committed to helping its members and grow as individuals by providing an environment that nurtures integrity, dignity, and maturity. Theta Mu Lambda Charitable Foundation Scholarship Program:  The Theta Lambda Charitable Foundation was founded on January 1, 1989 in Calumet City, Illinois with the aims of encouraging academic excellence and assisting minority students in their pursuit of higher education. The Theta Mu Lambda Charitable Foundation is accepting applications from students who attend a South Suburban High School with in the service area. Tim Breslin Memorial Scholarship is offering a $7,500 scholarship for students that are attending a high school in Illinois. Students must be a U.S. citizen or have a valid social security number. The application deadline is March 1.

Trinity Arts Experience – is hosting a Fine Arts Experiences for juniors and seniors interested in fine art, art education, graphic design, digital design, music, music production, or theatre. The event is free and seniors who attend the Trinity Arts Experience are also eligible for scholarships in art, music, or theatre ranging from $500 to $5,000. Students in art or technical theatre wishing to apply for this scholarship must submit 7-10 digital images. Students in music or performative theatre will audition live during their visit. Twenty Pearls Foundation, INC Eligibility for this scholarship varies by award type. Criteria include African American females and males. Must meet the following: high academic qualifications, exhibit a financial need, plan to attend an HBCU, be a junior or senior at a four-year college/university in the upcoming school year and is a member of a National Pan-Hellenic Organization, and permanently resides in an/or attends/graduated from a high school/ junior college in the South Suburban area. The Visa Black Scholars and Jobs Program, in partnership with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) is a new program designed for college-bound Black and African American students in the United States. Eligible high school seniors applying or intending to enroll as a full-time undergraduate in any four-year accredited college or university in the U.S. can receive a needs-based scholarship grant up to $20,000/year. Scholars who continue to meet the criteria, remain in good standing and maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA in university will be eligible for annual renewals. Upon graduation, all scholarship recipients who have met their requirements will be guaranteed a full-time job with Visa. The establishment of this program is an important long-term investment, aligned with Visa’s commitment to cultivate an inclusive and diverse workplace for all.

Voice of Democracy Scholarship The Voice of Democracy is open to students in grades 9-12 enrolled by Oct. 31 deadline in public, private, parochial school or home study program in the U.S., it’s territories or possessions. Dependents of U.S. military or civilian personnel in overseas schools are also eligible to participate. WACE WACE along with the National Co-op Scholarship Program will be awarding 160 merit scholarships, totaling $4.22 Million. Wendy’s High School Heisman Student must be a senior during the current academic year, graduating with the current. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, participate in at least one of the 47 sports recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games or the National Federation of State High School Association and sponsored by your school. Young Entrepreneur Foundation Are you a young entrepreneur? Do you know a young entrepreneur? Graduating high school seniors who operate their own small business are eligible to receive a NFIB Young Entrepreneur Award from the NFIB Young Entrepreneur Foundation. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. – Zeta Zeta Chapter Karen Lynee Harris Memorial Scholarship is offering a scholarship to students in the Chicagoland area including the surrounding suburbs. Students must have a 2.5 GPA and be a U.S. citizen. Application deadline is March 3.
